Adding the Translation Widget to your page is as easy as it gets.

Here is a picture of the overview, you can find explanations under the screenshot.

Choose your Translation Service

You can choose between the Bing and the Google Translation Service, both have their advantages. Try them to figure out which one suits you best.

The Google Translation Service also displays a bar at the top of the screen. Your customers may hide it anytime but we also give you the option of deactivating it. Using this option is in your own responsibility as Google might be not so happy.

Select your Website language

As you might have guessed you are supposed to choose the main language of your shop.

Select the Translation languages

Here you can choose the languages your page can be translated to.

The default setting is 'All languages' but you can also choose some specific languages.

And now choose your Display mode

You can add your Translation Widget as a Tab, floating on the screen,

This option is easy to activate, just choose your preferred position of the tab and you are good to go.

You can also implement the widget directly into your theme. This requires you to insert some lines of code in the theme.liquid file.

For doing that go to Online Store/Theme/…/ Edit HTML/CSS and choose the theme.liquid file. It should be the first in your layout folder, but this depends on your theme.
